Taking place in five of Australia’s capital cities; the event kicked off in Melbourne with over 180 people present. Crowds were strong in each state, with a national attendance of close to 1500 people!

A major upgrade to Australia’s favourite door hardware brand Lockwood was revealed; with exciting initiatives for the brand including: new packaging, new 25 year mechanical warranty, updated POS, updated catalogue modules and a new look website. This was all reinforced by a new manifesto and “Belief” for this iconic brand.

A Belief that states: “We take the worry out of protecting what’s valuable to you. Lockwood: no worries.”

Several new products were unveiled at LockCase Twenty Thirteen including: the Lockwood Digital Deadbolt, Code Handle and cutting edge wireless technology; technology that will be available from ASSA ABLOY Australia later this year. “It was great to see so many of our customers turn up to support our event and the keyless, mechanical and electromechanical “solutions” that were on show,” said ASSA ABLOY Business Manager - Product Management, Travis Thorn. “We are now moving from the standard stand-alone electromechanical product into a world where they are connected, fully integrated into the home automation platform. Demonstrating this revolutionary product at each event and seeing the level of interest shown from our loyal and valued customers was truly a pleasure,” said Travis.

Stealing the show was the much anticipated announcement of the continued sponsorship of Brad Jones Racing and Fabian Coulthard’s #14 entry in the 2013 V8 Supercar Programme. “This LockCase event has been awesome, with an unbelievable turnout at each location. As a V8 Supercar driver, I am proud to have both ASSA ABLOY and Lockwood on either side of my car – it is fantastic,” said Fabian Coulthard.

The ASSA ABLOY Australia team was proud to have executed a successful event for the Nation. “We have made some significant changes to the event order the past few years and this has resonated well with our customer base,” said Mercedes Maniati, ASSA ABLOY Public Relations Manager. “Everyone involved with the event was delighted with most aspects and the feedback has been fantastic – a big thank you to all involved,” added Mercedes.
